Perform a 60-second max commercial – samples provided but you are welcome to create
your own! One winner per Nation. Cash prize and perform at State pageant finale.
($30 fee, Max entry 1)

PHOTOGENIC
Great in front of a camera? We want to see! Submit up to 2 photo entries of your best headshot for a chance to win. One winner per Nation. Cash prize and model at State Pageant final in outfit of choice.  ($30 fee, Max entries: 2)

COVER MODEL/ PRINT MODEL
Showcase your style in fashion. Imagine yourself on a magazine cover or in an advertisement. Your style, your choice! One winner per Nation. Cash prize and model at State Pageant Final in outfit of choice. ($30 fee, Maximum Entries: 2)

TALENT
From magic to dance to singing to playing an instrument to a monologue; showcase your talents for the win. Performance of 2 minutes maximum. One winner per Nation. Cash prize and perform at State Pageant Finale (depending on talent).  ($30 fee, Maximum 2 entries)  

SPOTLIGHT ON THE ARTS
Submit an essay on the importance of arts in school or society in 200 words or less. One winner per Nation. Winners will receive an award and essays will be read at State Pageant Finale.

COMPETITION RULES
All contestants must be a natural born female, never married and never been pregnant or had a
child, and of upstanding moral character. All contestants must be U.S. citizens. All contestants may have never posed nude in any form of media. All contestants must be between the ages of 4-25 as of June 1, 2023.
*By participating in this program, you acknowledge, accept, and agree to abide by all rules posted on our national website, www.usamericanmiss.com and agree to all requirements as stated therein.

YOUTUBE VIDEOGRAPHY TIPS
The camera should be held steady in the center of the room/area. DO NOT move the camera to follow the contestant. The camera is to remain still. Make sure the lighting is good. Walk patterns will be provided. Location area examples to record in are living room, dance studio, gymnasium, or any open area including outside areas. AREAS WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION FOR JUDGING. Just ensure you have adequate space for competition and that video is not too far away.

**YOUTUBE VIDEO UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
You will need to record the competition and upload to YouTube &
send a link to dmv@usamericanmiss.com and must be turned in by DESIGNATED SCHEDULE (March 11, 2023).
For your upload, please be sure to do the following:
Make sure your video is “Unlisted” (private to everyone that does not have the link to watch your video). Music -any music of your choice as long as it is clean and appropriate. When emailing your video link please write the subject as following:
Subject: Division/Name of Competition– (your name). For example, Jr. Teen Talent – Stef Williams
All judging will be done prior to the FINAL PAGEANT by our Optional Judges Panel and winners will
be announced during pageant weekend prior to finals.
